Cleco Power and D.E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI) have signed a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) for the 240 MW AC Dolet Hills Solar Project to be built at the decommissioned Dolet Hills lignite-fired power plant in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana, USA.

Pending approvals, the Dolet Hills project will represent an investment of over US$250 million to power approximately 45,000 homes.
