Apex Clean Energy secures financing for 224 MW wind project in Iowa
Apex Clean Energy has obtained financing for the development of the 224 MW Great Pathfinder Wind project located in Boone and Hamilton Counties, Iowa, the USA after the Bank of America executed a tax equity commitment.
In May 2022, Apex completed the construction financing with Santander Corporate and Investment Banking, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and Bank of America as the lead arrangers and bookrunners. Additionally, Santander serves as the administrative agent.
Great Pathfinder project will supply power to Meta under a long-term power purchase agreement. It is anticipated to begin operations in the last quarter of 2022.
