Centrica Energy Trading and Better Energy, an independent power producer, have signed a 10-year power purchase agreement for solar power.

The power will be generated in two new solar parks, 44 MW and 67 MW solar projects in Jutland, Denmark. Both will be developed by Better Energy and will produce up to 112 GWh annually, which is equivalent to the power consumption of 70,000 Danish households.

It is expected that the projects will be connected to the grid by the end of 2021.
