BOOM Power has received planning permission on appeal for the 50 MW Carr Farm solar project near Tickton, East Riding of Yorkshire, UK.
The site, approximately 1.6km east of Beverley and 0.9km southeast of Tickton, will generate enough renewable electricity to power around 15,000 homes annually. The project, developed in partnership with Albanwise Synergy, will deliver a 166.47% increase in area habitat units and an 88.68% gain in hedgerow units, significantly enhancing the site’s ecological value compared to its existing condition.
