Cambridge Power secures planning permit for 50 MW battery energy storage project in Essex

Cambridge Power Ltd has secured planning permission from the planning committee at Tendring District Council for the development of the 50 MW battery energy storage system located in Essex, eastern England, UK. 

The project will be located next to the Lawford substation in Essex and will replace a gas-peaker plant previously planned to be constructed on the same site.
