The Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) of Brazil has approved Omega Geracao SA for the purchase of a 50% equity stake in the 182.6 MW wind portfolio in the state of Bahia.
The deal was published in Brazil's Official Gazette. EDF will sell the equity interest in the VDB F1 Geracao de Energia SA and VDB F2 Geracao de Energia SA, operators of the Ventos da Bahia 1 and 2 complexes.
The portfolio is composed of seven wind parks located in the municipalities of Bonito and Mulungu do Morro, Bahia state, owned by EDF Renewables.
