BNZ to build 49 MW solar PV project in Portugal

BNZ, part of Glennmont Partners, has received the authorization to start the construction of a 49 MWp solar PV plant in the Ave intermunicipal community, Portugal

The PV project is the first one for the company in Portugal and will have the capacity to cover the annual energy needs of 14,000 people. The produced energy will save 21,500 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions per year.

The PV plant is expected to be operational in 2023 and will create 270-370 direct and indirect jobs by 2024.
