Nordic solar completes the 48.5 MW Insua solar PV project in Alentejo

Nordic Solar A/S has completed the construction of the 48.5 MWp Insua solar photovoltaic farm located on about 80 hectares (197.7 acres) of land in the Alentejo region, Portugal.

Nordic Solar acquired the project from Chint Solar in early 2022. The project is expected to supply the demand consumption of  35,000 homes.

Nordic Solar is in partnership with Our New Energy as advisers in the power purchase agreement (PPA) with Axpo as PPA partner and lender Banco Sabadell SA.
