The private bank Berenberg has partnered with international project developer Energiequelle GmbH for the construction of the Konttisuo wind farm project in Finland.
Berenberg through its investment arms, Berenberg Green Energy Junior Debt Funds I and II, will finance the project with Energiequelle Junior Debt. The wind farm will consist of seven Nordex N149 systems. It will be located in the municipality of Soini, in southwest Finland, approximately 70 km to the east of the city of Seinäjoki. Energiequelle takes on the role of the general contractor. The access roads have already been built and the foundations poured and laid the internal cabling.
Construction is proceeding according to plan with the target commissioning in the first half of 2022.
