BayWa closes acquisition of Dalquhandy Wind Farm in South Lanarkshire

BayWa re renewable energy GmbH has completed the acquisition of the Dalquhandy Wind Farm in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, from Brockwell Energy Limited.

The 45 MW wind farm, located near Coalburn on the site of a former coal mine, will generate enough electricity for 34,000 households. It is expected to consist of up to 15 wind turbines. 

The financial detail of the transaction was not disclosed.
