India-based independent solar power producer Azure Power has closed a financing deal of INR4 billion (US$58 million) for its 100 MW solar power plant within the Pavagada solar complex in the Tumakuru district of Karnataka, a state in the south-west of India.
Azure Power secured the solar project through auction, which was conducted by Karnataka Renewable Energy Development.
The facility that will be set up at Pavagada Solar Park, which is being developed by Karnataka Solar Power Development Corporation Limited (KSPDCL).
