The Solar Energy Corporation of India has amended the recently floated tender for 160 MW of solar-wind hybrid power project with battery energy storage system at Ramagiri, located in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh.
SECI has also extended the bid submission deadline to October 10, 2018 from October 1, 2018. According to the amendment, the percentage of mandatory spare modules supplied from within the country has been increased from 0.25 percent to 0.50 percent of the total supply of solar modules. In the new guidelines, every solar management unit (SMU) input will be provided with fuses on both positive and negative sides. In case of negative grounded system, fuse at the positive side only is acceptable. It has also clarified that the solar and DC cables must have IS 7098-1/IS 7098-2 certification.
The degree of protection will not be less than IP 55 for outdoor panels. For auxiliary circuit compartment, degree of protection will not be less than IP 5X. However, for remaining compartments it will not be less than IP 4X.
