Mytrah Energy has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) deal with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for its 300 MW wind power energy project to be developed in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu.
The company has won the bid which was part of the fourth tranche of SECI’s reverse auction for wind projects. A total of 11 companies had participated in the reverse bidding, collectively submitting quotes for a capacity of 2,633.2 MW. Mytrah Energy (India) quoted a tariff of Rs 2.52 per unit for its winning bid.
The companies have to commission the projects awarded under the fourth tranche of SECI auctions within 18 months from the effective date of PPA.
