Atrato Onsite Energy (Atrato) has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with British soft drinks manufacturer Britvic for the 28 MW solar photovoltaic project located in Northamptonshire, England, UK.
The deal is expected to meet up to 75% energy requirement of Britvic’s current operations in Great Britain, including its Beckton and Leeds factories. Atrato will provide Britvic with solar electricity that is commercialized on a pay-as-you-generate basis but delivered on a baseload basis commensurate with the company's consumption demands.
The project is expected to enter full commissioning in early 2024.
