Amazon, Arlington County to buy power from Dominion Energy’s 120 MW solar PV project in Pittsylvania County
Amazon has signed a Power Purchase Agreement for Dominion Energy's 120 MW solar farm in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Amazon has contracted 82 MW or close to 70% of the total power generated, the remainder will be consumed by Arlington County’s government operations.
The project is expected to enter construction in 2020 with commercial operations due for 2022.
