Toyota Material Handling France (TMHFR) and Alight have entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the 300 kV rooftop photovoltaic (PV) project at the Bussy-Saint-Georges facility.

The construction of the solar installation began in the fall of 2022, was completed in December 2022, and began delivering clean electricity in January 2023. The project consists of 790 solar panels which will generate roughly 323 MWh per year.

The long-term contract with Alight will assist TMHFR in hedging its electricity costs, reducing its environmental effect, and protecting against market volatility.
