Alight, a European solar developer and independent power producer has announced its expansion into the Finnish market with its first local project, a 100+ MW solar park in Eurajoki.
The ground-mounted facility will be situated across an expansive 123-ha area in Eurajoki within the Satakunta municipality. Boasting an installed capacity exceeding 100MW, equivalent to powering approximately 20,000 households annually, it is set to become one of Finland's most substantial solar parks currently in progress. As per the scheduled plan, construction is slated to commence in the Q4 of 2024, with commissioning expected in the Q1 of 2026.
