AGL Energy and NBN Co have signed a six-year power purchase agreement (PPA), with NBN purchasing approximately 90 GWh of renewable energy annually and the associated certificates from Macarthur Wind Farm in Victoria, Australia.
The Macarthur wind farm is located in southwestern Victoria, 16 km east of Macarthur and between Hamilton and Warrnambool. It has 140 wind turbines with a total capacity of 420 MW.
