ACWA Power has signed an agreement with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) to develop and co-own 110 MW of floating solar projects in Indonesia.
ACWA Power will install 60 MW Saguling and 50 MW Singkarak solar farms, which require a combined investment of US$105 million. The company will own 49% of each of them, and PLN's subsidiary Indonesia Power will own the rest.
PLN, the sole power off-taker will operate the floating solar farms through a power purchase agreement (PPA).
