Nama Power & Water Procurement (PWP), Oman announces the list of bidders who submitted bids for the development of Ibri III Solar Independent power plant (IPP), in Ibri, a city in the governorate of Ad Dhahirah, in northwestern Oman.
Following is the list of Bidders:
PWP, Oman’s sole off-taker of electricity from independent power plants, prequalified nine applicants in June 2024, after evaluating 12 qualification submissions from both local and international consortia. Among the prequalified companies that did not submit bids were Jinko Power and Sumitomo Corp. The schedule of the Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) of the project is in Q1 2027.
