Acciona starts pouring foundations at 1,026 MW wind project in Queensland

Acciona Energia has started pouring concrete for the first of 180 foundations at the 1,026 MW MacIntyre Wind Precinct project in Queensland, Australia to support the 180 Nordex Delta 5.7 MW turbines.

The project consists of two wind farms, one with a capacity of 923 MW and the other of 102.6 MW.

The MacIntyre Wind Precinct project is anticipated to be completed in 2024.
