Lightsource BP has reached commercial operation of the 40MW Kotuń solar project in Poland.

Lightsource BP has advanced a 3.2GW project pipeline and established a strong presence in the country. The Kotuń solar project achieving Commercial Operation begins a long-term Power Purchase Agreement with Microsoft, signed in September 2023, for the 40MWac solar project. This milestone supports further decarbonization of the Polish grid and aids Microsoft’s goal of 100% renewable energy by 2025.
