2W Energia has closed a US$30 million mezzanine facility, a combination of debt and equity financing, for the construction of the 138.6 MW Anemus wind complex in Rio Grande do Norte state, Brazil. The company has partnered with Darby Overseas Partners.
The project is expected to start commercial operation in the first quarter of 2022. Brazilian WEG SA will supply the equipment.
