2W Energia, the developer of 138.6 MW Anemus wind complex, has signed a contract with electrical equipment manufacturer WEG SA to deliver 33units of AGW 147/4.2 MW turbines for the wind project currently being developed in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.
The project represents about BRL640 million (US$113.96 million) of investment.
WEG will also provide a 20-year operation and maintenance (O&M) service to the wind complex. The project is expected to be operational by 2022.
