State-owned water and energy company Metropolitana de Águas e Energia S.A (EMAE) has launched a tender for the development of a floating solar photovoltaic project with capacity ranges from 1 MW up to 30 MWp that will be developed in the Billings reservoir.
EMAE invites holders of capital, rights, projects, and/or any business opportunities to express interest in the development of floating photovoltaic solar power generation projects, future participation in the Regulated Contracting Environments (ACR) and / or Contracting Free (ACL).
The basic structure for the business may be the formation of a Consortium, with the objective of a Special Purpose Entity (SPE) institution, or a special purpose instrument necessary to implement the enterprise, at the discretion of EMAE.
EMAE's participation in the partnership will be through capital or assets, including the provision of sites for the implementation of the projects, as well as the experience and training in the generation of electric energy, having to participate in the result of the sale of the generated energy.
The deadline for the submission of documents is on December 9, 2020.
