X-Elio is planning to build a 300 MW solar photovoltaic project with a battery energy storage system (BESS) near Wagga Wagga in the Riverina region of New South Wales in Australia.
The 300 MW Maxwell Solar Farm will be constructed on about 1013-hectare site. It will be connected to the national grid through Transgrid's current 330 kV transmission lines. Once operational, the project can generate enough power for about 115,000 Australian homes.
X-Elio is currently conducting the development approval process with the NSW Department of Planning, Industry & Environment however, it is in the preliminary stage. The grid feasibility study is also underway.
