Wood has secured an award for the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for Gen2 Energy's 100 MW green hydrogen production project in Mosjoen, Norway.
The award follows Wood's initial conceptualization of the plant and other Gen2 Energy production facilities to speed the distribution of hydrogen produced in Norway using renewable energy to the UK and Europe.
The initial stage of Gen2 Energy's plan is to develop a 100 MW plant that produces 45 tons of green hydrogen daily. Wood will conduct the FEED study with Gen2 Energy's personnel.
