Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited, a unit of Waaree Group, has been awarded an engineering, construction, and procurement (EPC) contract for the development of a 140 MWdc solar photovoltaic plant located in the State of Gujarat in India.
The project can generate enough power for the consumption of about 210,000 homes and offsets up to 102,200 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions annually once operational.
