Voltalia has announced the sale to Japanese construction firm TODA of a ready-to-build wind project (28 megawatts) located in Voltalia’s Serra Branca cluster, in Brazil.
Serra Branca cluster, the world’s biggest wind-and-solar cluster, covers approximately 40,000 hectares, within a 50-by-15 kilometers area.
The construction of the new wind farm is planned to start this year with commercial operation expected in July 2021.
An eight-year contract will start with Voltalia providing operation and maintenance of the electrical infrastructure such as medium voltage networks, substations, and transmission lines. The company will also perform supervision services of the wind farm, including analyses of the turbines’ performance, and administrative management of the asset.
