Brazilian fuel distributor Vibra Energia SA will be exercising its purchase option to acquire a controlling stake of 50% in one of Brazil's largest energy trading companies Comerc.
From the previously held deal, Vibra will own a 48.7% stake in Comerc, while the current founding shareholders of its unit Vibra Comercializadora, formerly known as Targus, will keep the 1.3% interest. As part of the deal, Vibra Comercializadora will now become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comerc.
