Vestas upgrades and repower Marengo and Marengo II wind farms

Vestas has received a contract from PacifiCorp for the upgrade and repowering of its two wind projects. The facilities involved are the:

  • 140.4 MW Marengo wind project
  • 70.2 MW Marengo II wind project

The two projects, commissioned in 2007 and 2008, respectively, are both located in Dayton, Washington, USA and uses V80-1.8 MW turbines. Vestas will be upgrading the units to V100-2.0 MW wind turbines.

The delivery of the units will be in the second quarter of 2019. The contract also includes a multi-year service agreement.
