BLM approves Sweetwater Solar Energy Facility in Wyoming

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), a unit of the US Department of the Interior, has granted approval to the 80 MW Sweetwater Solar Energy Facility.

The solar project, which will generate generate electricity to power around 17,000 homes, is proposed to be developed in Sweetwater County, near the city of Green River, Wyoming, USA. 

The developer, Sweetwater Solar LLC, is set to commence construction on July 1, 2018 and set to complete the facility by February 2019.
