Vestas to supply 178 MW of wind turbines for US wind project

Vestas has secured an order for 178 MW to power an undisclosed wind project in the US. The order includes 23 V150-4.5 MW turbines, 14 V150-4.2 MW turbines operating at 4.3 MW, and four V136-3.45 MW turbines working at 3.6 MW.

Vestas will furthermore provide a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement tailored to optimize the asset's performance. The delivery of turbines will commence in Q3 of 2023, with commissioning expected for Q4.

Both the customer and project were not disclosed.
