Vestas secures turbine order for 56 MW wind project in Iowa

Vestas has been awarded a turbine supply contract for the development of the 56 MW Prescott wind project in Iowa, USA. The order covers the delivery of 13 V150-4.2 MW wind turbines delivered in 4.3 MW operating mode.

The contract includes the supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure the optimized performance of the asset.

Turbine delivery begins in the Q4 of 2023 with commissioning scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
