Vestas has signed a 107 MW turbine deal to supply and install wind turbines to two wind farms in France and Italy.
The first order is placed by Boralex and includes the supply and installation of 17 V126-3.45 MW wind turbines operated at a 3.8 MW Power Optimised Mode. The contract is for the 65 MW Les Moulins du Lohan wind project, to be located in Morbihan, France. It also comes with a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement. Turbine delivery is planned for the second quarter of 2022 and commissioning is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
Another 42 MW order is for the repowering of the Monreale Partinico wind park, located in Sicily, Italy. The contract includes the supply and installation of ten V136-4.2 MW wind turbines to replace the site’s current 19 V52-850 kW turbines. Vestas will also service the wind park through a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service agreement. The order is placed by ERG Wind Energy Srl., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ERG S.p.A. Turbine delivery is planned for the third quarter of 2022, whilst commissioning is expected for the last quarter of 2022.
