MHI Vestas has completed the turbine installations for the Borssele III & IV offshore wind farm located 14 miles off the coast of Zeeland.
Borssele 3 & 4 features 77 units MHI Vestas V164-9.5 MW turbines. The project is developed by the Blauwwind consortium, consisting of Partners Group, Shell, Eneco, Diamond Generating Europe, and Van Oord.
The project is currently under testing in preparation for full commissioning by 2021.
MHI Vestas will deliver the operation and maintenance of the project under a 15-year service agreement.
