Vattenfall has made final decision to invest for 600 MW Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm project. The project is located in the Baltic Sea. The project uses Siemens Gamesa technology, 72 units 8.0-167 DD wind turbines with 167 m rotor diameter.
The project location site was awarded to Vattenfall after winning the tender last November 2016. The cost was amounted to EUR 49.9 per MWh. The completion of the project is expected in 2021.
