UPC/AC Renewables Australia has secured a grid connection deal with local network provider Transgrid for the planned 720 MW solar photovoltaic farm with an integrated battery storage facility in New South Wales.

The project will be built near the town of Uralla, on the Northern Tablelands in New South Wales, Australia. UPC/AC Renewables Australia, formerly known as UPC Renewables, is set to invest about AUD768 million (US$528.7 million) for the project. AC Energy, a unit of the Philippines' Ayala Corp, owns 50% in UPC Renewables.

In March 2020, the energy regulators of New South Wales have approved the development of the project. The construction is expected to be completed in 36 months.
