UDP Renewables has launched the second phase of a 46 MW Scythia Solar-2 Park located in Melitopol, Zaporizhia region, southeastern Ukraine, with the total investment of EUR31.7 million (US$35.3 milloin).
The Scythia Solar-2 has a peak capacity of 33.1 MW and occupies 50 ha (124 acres) of land area that consists of more than 91,000 solar modules produced by JA Solar. The park will generate almost 42,000 MWh per year enabling to power 13,300 households, while mitigating 51,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
