Oze Grup, in partnership with PVI Enerji, ELİN Enerji, HMK Demir Çelik, Sunroof Enerji, and Solex Energy, has developed and commissioned Turkey’s first large-scale hybrid solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage power plant near Sivrihisar in Eskişehir Province, combining a 49.2 MWp solar array with a 34.1 MWh BESS to provide grid-connected renewable energy with storage capabilities.
The facility is located in Sivrihisar, Eskişehir Province, approximately 100 km southwest of Ankara. The solar power plant has a peak capacity of 49.2 MW, while its 29 MW grid connection aligns with the 34.1 MWh capacity of the integrated BESS. The plant was designed and constructed by PVI Enerji for Oze İnşaat ve Beton Sanayi, with BS Distributed Energy Systems (BS DES) participating throughout all project stages. Additional contractors involved include ELİN Enerji, HMK Demir Çelik, Sunroof Enerji, and Solex Energy.
