The consortium of companies composed of Vietnam's T&T Group and South Korea's Korea Southern Power Corp (Kospo), Hanwha Energy Corp., and Korea Gas Corp (Kogas), has started the construction of its 1.5 GW Vietnam LNG-to-power complex located in north-central Vietnam.
The project will be located in Quang Tri province and will consume up to 1.5 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year.
The power complex is expected to be operational by 2027.
