Kulara Water has entered into a long-term deal with TotalEnergies and ENEOS to deliver a solar energy and energy storage solution for its new bottling facility in Srayang Thaung Village, Preah Vihear Province, Cambodia. The energy will be generated by an 800 kWp ground-mounted solar array coupled with a 1344 kWh storage system.
During the day, solar energy is utilized and extra electricity is stored in batteries for use at night. When completed, the installation of the system will increase the energy efficiency of Kulara Water, reduce power costs, and improve access to the power supply.
TotalEnergies, ENEOS, and Kulara Water will continue to work together for the next 15 years to ensure the safe production and storage of energy in the system.
