Total, Simply Blue Energy to build 96 MW floating wind project in Welsh waters

The partnership of French energy company Total SA and UK renewables developer Simply Blue Energy has submitted an application for the planned development of a 96 MW floating offshore wind project in Welsh waters.

The Erebus demonstration wind project will utilize the WindFloat technology of Principle Power. Once operational, the project can stimulate economic activities in Wales and Cornwall.
