Total Eren signs an agreement to design, finance, build and operate a solar power plant in Uzbekistan through a public private partnership (PPP). The company will construct the 100 MW project in Uzbekistan’s Samarkand region with an investment of EUR150 million (US$166 million).
The construction of the solar facility is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2020. Commercial operation is set to begin in the beginning of 2021.
