The Government of Uzbekistan in partnership with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has launched three requests for expression of interest (RFEOI) for advisory roles for the development of around 100 MW Sherabod Solar IPP located in the province of Surkhandarya in Uzbekistan.
ADB, as the mandated transaction advisor to the Government of Uzbekistan, is looking for a transaction advisory firm, technical, and modeling firm for the solar project.
The technical consulting firm assignments include a.) Assist ADB in all technical aspects relevant to the update of the FS and finalize the technical specifications of the Project; and, b.) Assist ADB in the tendering / procuring of the Project from a technical perspective.
The selected advisory group, that will act as the specialized modeling firm, assignments include a.) Assist the Client in the tendering / procuring of the Project from a technical perspective; b.) Develop one or more financial model(s) (the “Model”) that is/are capable of (i) representing the financial situation of the Project, (ii) incorporating relevant accounting and tax structuring, (iii) enabling evaluation various bids received, and (iv) facilitating affordability analysis including various forms of public sector support; and, c.) Provide on-going support and make amendments to the Model as and when required throughout this assignment.
The deadline for the submission of interests is on July 24, 2019.
