Total Eren has closed the US$138 million financing for its 50.4 MW Malaspina wind project located in Chubut province in southern Argentina.
The US$40 million financing package is provided by Dutch development bank (FMO) while the remaining US$64 million is granted by Germany’s KfW IPEX-Bank. Euler Hermes covers the 95% of the German lender’s share.
The Malaspina wind project will be equipped with 14 Senvion wind turbines of the 3.6M114 model. The project has a 20-year power purchase agreement with Compañía Administradora del Mercado Mayorista Eléctrico (CAMMESA).
