Third Energy closes sale of its onshore gas business

Alpha Energy, through its subsidiary York Energy, has closed the sale and purchase agreement with Third Energy that was first announced in April 2019.

The transaction involves the acquisition of the entire share capital of Third Energy Onshore Limited. The sale includes the onshore gas exploration, appraisal and production company Third Energy UK Gas Limited, and Third Energy Trading Limited which owns the power generating station at East Knapton, North Yorkshire.
