The first batch of solar panels of a 42.5 MW project in Queensland have been switched on

The first batch of solar panels of the 42.5 MW solar farm located next to the decommissioned Collinsville coal-fired power station and mine have been switched on. It is expected that the facility will be full operational by September.

The existing electrical substation and other transmission facilities at the site, originally developed for the coal-fired power station, have been upgrade to serve the PV project.
