Thailand tenders 45 MW floating solar project on Sirindhorn Dam

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has launched a tender for the development of a 45MWac of floating solar project at the Sirindhorn Dam. 

The Sirindhorn Dam Hydro-Floating Solar Hybrid Pilot Project opening bid is set on August 20, 2019. The project is located at the Sirindhorn Dam in Sirindhorn District, Ubon Ratchatani, Thailand. The dam was commissioned in 1971 to serve as a hydropower facility as well as to supply irrigation water.
