TESS Engineering starts operation of 14.4 MW Chiba Katori Mega Solar Power Plant

TESS Engineering Co Ltd has completed the construction and commences the operation of the 14.4 MW Chiba Katori Mega Solar Power Plant in Japan. 

The solar photovoltaic project consists of 43, 568 solar panels. It is built on a 210,000 sq.m (2,260,421 acres) of land area in Katori town and can generate up to 15.53 million kWh per year.

TEPCO Energy Partner Inc, a subsidiary of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc, is the sole purchaser of the energy produced from the power plant.
